ELE|NA Spa Leads Digital Well-being Across Maldives

On 10 December 2025, ELE|NA Spa marked World Digital Detox Day with an inspiring resort-wide celebration across its luxury destinations in the Maldives, creating meaningful experiences focused on digital balance, mindfulness, and human connection.

The initiative was carried out across renowned island resorts including OZEN Reserve Bolifushi, OZEN Life Maadhoo, Raaya by Atmosphere, VARU by Atmosphere, OBLU Select Sangeli, OBLU Select Lobigili, OBLU Xperience Ailafushi, and OBLU Nature Helengeli.

Centered around a “Reduced Screen Time Challenge,” guests and team members were encouraged to consciously reduce digital usage and reconnect with themselves, nature, and the people around them. Throughout the day, participants engaged in thoughtfully designed screen-free wellness experiences that promoted calmness, reflection, and presence.

The celebrations featured sunrise island walks, mindful meditation sessions, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, fire ceremonies, self-healing acupressure workshops, detox food corners, and immersive wellness activities. Special experiences for children encouraged joyful play, movement, creativity, and connection beyond screens.

To further strengthen the spirit of mindful living, designated no-screen dining spaces were introduced, allowing guests and colleagues to enjoy genuine conversations and uninterrupted moments together.

Participants who successfully achieved their personal screen-time reduction goals were also rewarded with wellness gifts, making the experience both engaging and meaningful.

The initiative extended beyond resort guests, as ELE|NA Spa’s corporate office teams also participated by observing a collective screen-free hour through a shared device-free meal—highlighting the organization’s belief that true wellness begins internally.
