We are delighted to welcome Ms. Lubna Mohamed Zahir Hussain to the World Digital Detox Day (WDDD) Global Ambassador Community as our Ambassador – Maldives.
Ms. Lubna brings with her an exceptional and inspiring journey of leadership and service. She is currently serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maldives , and has previously held key positions including Minister of State for Homeland Security and Technology , along with extensive experience in governance, policy-making, and national-level initiatives.
She is also a PhD scholar in Psychology, Management, and Leadership, deeply engaged in research and impactful work around:
• Lifestyle & behavior change
• Habit reset and digital detox
• Youth, women, and community empowerment
She has been actively designing and conducting scientific and community-based programs , including both faith-based and non-faith-based approaches, aimed at addressing challenges like digital addiction and mental well-being.
Her vision to promote digital detox awareness in Maldives , including opportunities in digital detox tourism and community development , is truly aligned with the global mission of WDDD.
We are confident that her leadership and passion will bring meaningful impact not only in Maldives but also at an international level.
